Job summary

Billion Auto Collision Center in Sioux Falls, SD, is hiring a Body Shop Buffer to help ensure a flawless finish on repaired and refinished panels. You will use finishing abrasives, buffing equipment and compounds to refine panel texture and quality.

Duties include inspecting refinished panels for color match, preparing surfaces for buffing, restoring finishes with rotary buffers, checking for overspray, and supporting the team as needed. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer offering benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License
• 1-3 years’ experience in collision center/body shop

Responsibilities

• Inspect refinished body panels for proper color match and bring any issues to management attention
• Prepare surface for buffing
• Restore refinished panels utilizing rotary buffer, correct buffing technique, and compounds and polishes
• Inspect remaining vehicle surfaces for overspray and remove as needed

Billion Auto is seeking a Body Shop Buffer to join the Billion Auto Collision Center team!

The body shop buffer will be responsible for ensuring quality appearance on repaired and refinished panels after paint application by utilizing finishing abrasives, buffing equipment and compounds to refine panel finish texture.

Duties:

• Inspect refinished body panels for proper color match brining any issues to management attention
• Prepare surface for buffing
• Restore refinished panels utilizing rotary buffer, correct buffing technique, and compounds and polishes
• Inspect remaining vehicle surfaces for overspray and remove as needed
• Other duties as assigned
