Job summary

D&S Automotive Collision and Restyling in Mentor, Ohio is seeking a Repair Planner / Estimator to lead disassembly, document damage, and prepare detailed repair estimates for customers and insurers. You will work closely with the Collision Center team in a fast-paced shop environment.

Requirements include 3+ years auto body estimating experience, CCC One proficiency, strong communication and organizational skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of auto body estimating experience in a collision repair environment.
• Proficiency with collision estimating software (CCC One or equivalent).
• Strong computer skills, including estimating systems, digital imaging tools, and basic office applications.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills in a fast-paced shop environment.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving and background requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Lead vehicle disassembly and document damage using the estimating system and digital photos.
• Assist in establishing realistic repair plans based on parts availability and shop volume.
• Create accurate repair estimates for vehicle repairs.
• Explain the repair process, parts used, and repair expectations to customers clearly.
• Work with Parts Department to obtain all required parts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).
