Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR seeks a full-time Auto Body Estimator to join a family-owned repair facility. You will assess vehicle damage, translate data into repair plans, and coordinate with insurers, customers, and technicians to ensure safe manufacturer-compliant repairs.

Requirements include 1–3 years of estimating experience, mastery of CCC ONE, and I-CAR or ASE credentials (or willingness to train); valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of writing collision estimates in a shop environment.
• Mastery of CCC ONE estimating software.
• I-CAR Platinum or ASE credentials are preferred or willing to complete training.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Damage assessment of body, frame, paint, and structural damage.
• Create precise line-item repair quotes using CCC ONE.
• Liaise with Direct Repair Programs (DRP) and insurers; submit documentation for hidden damages.
• Explain repair timelines to clients and collect final payments.
• Order parts via Parts Trader and other platforms.

In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for our clients, evaluating vehicle collision damage, translating technical data into accurate repair plans. Managing communications with insurance companies, customers and auto technicians to ensure safe manufacturer-compliant vehicle repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Damage Assessment: Inspect vehicles thoroughly to identify body, frame, paint, and structural damage.
• Estimate Creation: Utilize CCC ONE software to write precise, detailed line-item repair quotes.
• Insurance Liaison: Manage Direct Repair Programs (DRP), navigate carrier guidelines, and submit supplemental documentation for hidden damage approvals.
• Client Advisory: Greet customers, explain mechanical and structural repair timelines, and collect final payments.
• Parts ordering:Utilizing Parts Trader and other platforms.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 1–3 years of writing collision estimates in a shop environment.
• Software Proficiency: Mastery of CCC ONE estimating software is strictly required.
• Certifications: I-CAR Platinum or ASE credentials are high (or a willingness to complete training).
• Skills: Excellent verbal communication, attention to detail, and basic computer proficiency.
• Licensing: Must possess a valid Driver’s License.
