Job summary

Haley Toyota of Roanoke is seeking an Auto Body Shop Clerk to handle a wide range of administrative duties. The role includes greeting customers, handling phones, and assisting with vehicle repair estimates and insurance coordination.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 3 years of relevant experience, strong organizational and computer skills, and excellent English communication. On-site, full-time position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in auto body repair or estimating.
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes and parts.
• Experience with estimating software and tools.
• Previous customer service experience in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-rate customer service greeting customers and answering phones.
• Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to assess repair needs and costs.
• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for repairs, including parts and labor.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain the repair process and answer any questions.
• Collaborate with technicians to ensure all necessary repairs are identified and included in the estimate.
• Coordinate with insurance companies to provide necessary documentation and facilitate claims processing.
• Process accounts receivable for body repair work
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Filing and other office duties
• Assist Body Shop Manager with various duties
