Job summary

VIVE Collision of Worcester is seeking an Auto Body Disassembly & Reassembly Technician in Worcester, MA. This full-time role involves disassembling, inspecting, and reassembling vehicles, with emphasis on identifying hidden damage and ensuring a 100% repair plan.

The position requires at least 1 year of auto body repair experience, a high school diploma or GED, and preferred I-CAR and OEM training. Pay range is $20–$25 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and paid training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of auto body repair experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; Auto Body Vo-Tech certification preferred.
• I-CAR and OEM training preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read repair orders, estimates, and work instructions.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow the company blueprinting process and disassembly procedures (DFR) for all vehicle inspections.
• Disassemble vehicles after the initial estimate and inspect for structural and hidden damage.
• Complete full vehicle disassembly to support a 100% repair plan.
• Document all additional damage, required parts, blend panels, moldings, clips, and one-time-use fasteners.
• Communicate supplemental damage and parts needs to the Production Manager/Estimator.
• Assist with vehicle reassembly as needed.
• Perform light non-structural repairs including sanding, finishing, and minor bumper repairs.
• Reinstall moldings, trim, and finishing components.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
