Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking an Auto Body Disassembly & Reassembly Technician for our Worcester, MA shop. The role involves disassembling vehicles, inspecting for hidden damage, and reassembling them to a 100% repair plan.

The position offers hourly pay ranging from $20.00 to $25.00, full-time hours, and comprehensive benefits. Candidates should have at least 1 year of auto body repair experience and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of auto body repair experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; Vo-Tech certification preferred.
• I-CAR and OEM training preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read repair orders, estimates, and work instructions.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow blueprinting process and disassembly procedures for inspections.
• Disassemble vehicles after initial estimate and inspect for damage.
• Complete full vehicle disassembly to support a 100% repair plan.
• Document additional damage, parts, and fasteners.
• Communicate needs to Production Manager/Estimator.
• Assist with vehicle reassembly as needed.
• Perform light non-structural repairs and finishing.
• Reinstall moldings and finishing components.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Disassembly & Reassembly Technician is responsible for disassembling, inspecting, and assessing vehicles for additional or hidden damage. Once the vehicle is ready, the technician will reassemble the vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow the company blueprinting process and disassembly procedures (DFR) for all vehicle inspections.
• Disassemble vehicles after the initial estimate and inspect for structural and hidden damage.
• Complete full vehicle disassembly to support a 100% repair plan.
• Document all additional damage, required parts, blend panels, moldings, clips, and one-time-use fasteners.
• Communicate supplemental damage and parts needs to the Production Manager/Estimator.
• Assist with vehicle reassembly as needed.
• Perform light non-structural repairs including sanding, finishing, and minor bumper repairs.
• Reinstall moldings, trim, and finishing components.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel and pull
• Extended periods of kneeling, bending, squatting, and stooping to complete or inspect repairs
• Carry and lift heavy objects (up to 80lbs)
• Manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination to operate equipment
• Performing repetitive motions
