Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required.
2 years bodily injury liability claim handling experience.
General knowledge of claims handling and litigation.
Knowledge of insurance product lines and claim processes.
Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills.
Ability to manage timelines and meet commitments.

Responsibilities

Deliver consistent service throughout the claim life cycle, communicating with stakeholders and meeting account commitments.
Review coverage and apply policy terms across jurisdictions for moderate BI claims.
Investigate to determine coverage, liability, damages and contributing factors.
Identify resources for subrogation, risk control and expert consultations.
Establish timely reserves and manage file inventory to resolve claims timely.
Negotiate settlements within authority; communicate denials or reservations of rights as needed.
