Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Examiner, Auto | Bodily Injury to analyze and process complex auto and commercial transport bodily injury claims, reviewing coverage, investigating liability, and evaluating damages.

You will coordinate with vendors, manage large claims, meet deadlines, pursue subrogation, and communicate progress to insureds, clients, and brokers while upholding Sedgwick's service standards. This role offers a flexible schedule, strong benefits, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Five years of claims management experience or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of personal and commercial auto policies, coverage, principles, and laws.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• State adjusting licenses may be required for the position.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Responsabilités

• Process complex auto, commercial and personal line claims with proper documentation and coding.
• Manage litigation process on litigated claims.
• Coordinate vendor management, including independent adjusters for investigations.
• Report large claims to excess carriers.
• Develop action plans to meet state deadlines and drive timely resolution.
• Identify and pursue subrogation and risk transfer opportunities; manage salvage.
• Communicate claim actions with insured, client, and broker as appropriate.
• Support the organization’s quality programs and perform other duties as assigned.
