Sedgwick, a leading risk and claims administration partner, is seeking a Claims Examiner for bodily injury auto and commercial transportation claims. The ideal candidate will analyze coverage, investigate liability, and evaluate damages to resolve claims efficiently.

The role emphasizes adherence to client requirements, service expectations, and industry best practices while maintaining timely resolution. A strong background in auto policies, licensing, and team collaboration is essential.

Qualificações

• Five (5) years of claims management experience or equivalent education/experience required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; professional certification as applicable to line of business is a plus.
• Strong oral and written communication, including presentation skills; PC literate including Microsoft Office; ability to work in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Processes complex auto, commercial and personal line claims, including bodily injury; ensure proper documentation and coding.
• Responsible for litigation process on litigated claims.
• Coordinates vendor management, including independent adjusters for investigations.
• Reports large claims to excess carrier(s).
• Develops action plans to meet state deadlines and move files toward resolution.
• Identifies subrogation and risk transfer opportunities; handles salvage as needed.
• Communicates claim action/processing with insured, client, and broker when appropriate.
