Job summary

Zurich North America in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced Senior Claims Adjuster to handle auto bodily injury claims and work with internal and external attorneys to resolve complex cases.

You will establish reserves, assess damages, and ensure regulatory compliance throughout the claims cycle while maintaining excellent customer service and timely resolutions. This position offers hybrid remote work and competitive total rewards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with 2+ years in Claims/Insurance OR Zurich Apprenticeship with 2+ years in Claims/Insurance OR High School Diploma with 4+ years in Claims/Insurance OR completion of Zurich Claims Training with 2+ years in Claims/Insurance; must obtain adjuster license(s).
• Microsoft Office experience required.
• Knowledge of insurance regulations, markets and products.

Responsibilities

• Handle auto bodily injury claims with varying complexity.
• Collaborate with internal and external attorneys.
• Develop case strategy and evaluation to resolve claims timely.
• Establish reserves and review throughout claims cycle within authority.
• Assess damages and calculate permissible damages.
• Maintain customer service and respond to inquiries per protocols.
• Ensure compliance with state/federal laws and internal controls.
• Refer subrogation and fraud cases when applicable.
