Summit Racing Equipment is seeking a Merchandise Category Lead to drive growth across a key product category. You will own assortment strategy, optimize pricing, and partner with vendors to grow profitability while maintaining excellent customer experience.

Hybrid work in OH is required after an initial on-site training period, with strong emphasis on data-driven decision making, cross-functional collaboration, and accurate product content across digital and print channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, supply chain, or related field.
• Experience in merchandising or product management preferred.
• Hands-on understanding of the classic and late model truck market.

Responsibilities

• Manage product assortment and SKU mix within assigned brands focusing on profitability and customer experience.
• Monitor sales trends, vendor feedback, return rates, stock status, and pricing to guide SKU rationalization.
• Collaborate with Pricing to analyze brand performance and competitor activity.
• Lead vendor onboarding and pricing programs with the Vendor Onboarding team.
• Determine stocking levels for new SKUs and brands using trend analysis.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and Inventory Planning for stocking strategies and turns.
• Prepare sales information for vendor meetings to drive action plans.
• Ensure accuracy of product content presented to customers.
