Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, or related field.
• PA Special Education Certification required and active.
• Strong knowledge of early elementary curriculum and foundational literacy/numeracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Mandatory PA clearances prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and differentiate instruction to meet individual goals in pull-out and co-taught settings.
• Implement IEPs with fidelity and SDI per laws.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, SLPs, OTs, and other specialists.
• Administer assessments and track progress toward IEP goals.
• Implement PBSPs and de-escalation strategies to maintain a safe classroom.
• Communicate student progress with parents and administrators.
• Supervise students during instructional and non-instructional periods to ensure safety.
