Job summary

Action Behavior Centers in Apex, NC, is seeking a Child Autism Therapist (Bachelor's Degree Required) to support children with autism in developing communication, social, and independent skills. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule (8am–5pm) with optional Saturdays based on patient needs, full-time employment, and paid training including RBT certification.

Starting pay varies by education level; Bachelor's degree: $16.50–$25.50 per hour, with potential for higher with a Master's.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; must provide proof (diploma or official transcript) showing degree awarded.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• At least 18 years old and able to complete paid RBT certification within 20 days of hire.
• No prior experience required; paid training and RBT certification fully covered.
• Experience in childcare, such as nanny, babysitter, preschool teacher, camp counselor or tutor is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow personalized treatment plans and collect simple session data.
• Help children learn through play, movement, reading, games, and hands-on activities.
• Stay active and engaged throughout therapy sessions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment.
• Collaborate with a supportive team focused on helping kids grow and succeed.
