Job summary

Centria Autism in Virginia seeks Registered Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.

We provide comprehensive training and a supportive team environment. Candidates should be patient and compassionate; the role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds. Pay ranges from $19 to $25 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Pass pre-employment background check.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with BCBA and care teams to monitor progress.
