Responsibilities

Develops or selects and modifies lessons to meet individual student needs.
Implements instruction using GPS standards and special methodologies.
Develops, implements, monitors, and reviews IEPs for students on caseload.
Addresses needs of students with disabilities, including positioning and mobility support.
Administers progress assessments and maintains records.
Follows due process procedures for referred students.
Collaborates with parents/guardians and general education staff.
Facilitates home-school communication and uses technology to support instruction.
Serves as a resource to educators and related services staff.
Performs other duties as assigned by administrators.
