Job summary

Libertyville School District 70 is seeking a Paraeducator for the Structured Learning Classroom for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will have autism-specific interventions knowledge and experience supporting students with ASD and behavioral challenges.

Responsibilities include aiding inclusion, implementing behavior management strategies, and supporting IEP goals. Qualifications include an Illinois Paraeducator Approval and an Associate Degree; TEACCH preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with autism and behavioral challenges in an educational setting.
• Knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and autism-specific interventions.
• Familiar with Star and PCI curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Support students with autism and behavioral challenges in Structured Learning Classroom.
• Facilitate inclusion of students in classroom activities and routines.
• Assist in achieving students' educational goals through behavior support and data collection.
