Job summary

Frisco ISD seeks an Educational Aide to support a Special Education classroom in a Structured Learning Class setting, assisting students with autism and other communication disorders. You will help the lead teacher prepare instructional materials, maintain records, and provide behavior supports under SBEC certification requirements.

The role involves helping with instructional activities, personal care as needed, and adherence to TEKS-aligned plans.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with children with disabilities.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively; basic office equipment knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Help teacher prepare instructional materials.
• Keep administrative records and reports; assist substitutes.
• Assist students with physical disabilities (may require lifting).
• Support students' instructional needs per IEPs and TEKS alignment.
• Assist with personal care as appropriate.
• Maintain confidentiality and participate in staff development.
