Franklin Township School District is seeking a Leave Replacement Special Education Teacher to work with Autism students for the 2026-2027 school year. Location to be determined.

The role requires NJ certification in special education and the ability to implement ABA-based instruction. The position is a 10-month contract with a salary range per BOE/FTEA and benefits including medical/dental coverage, personal/sick days, FSA, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• NJ certification required: Pre K-3, K-6 and Teacher of Students with Disabilities or TOH
• Ability to maintain a positive learning environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Compliance with the NJ FIRST Act
• Criminal History Clearance
• Proof of U.S. Citizenship or employment authorization

Responsibilities

• Provide daily instruction to Autism students per approved curriculum
• Utilize ABA principles and collect data with graphing of progress
• Collaborate with team and train as needed
