Qualifications

• Valid Michigan teaching certificate with Autism Endorsement (SA) preferred.
• Highly Qualified under No Child Left Behind guidelines.
• Experience with students diagnosed ASD and related supports.
• Ability to write, implement and monitor IEPs.
• Proficient in data-driven instruction and progress monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated instruction to students on caseload.
• Evaluate and monitor student growth and develop targeted interventions.
• Maintain contact with parents of caseload students.
• Plan and participate in MET and IEPT meetings as appropriate.
• Collaborate with professionals regarding students and programs.
• Maintain records per standards and district policy.
• Direct and supervise classroom paraprofessional.
• Other duties as assigned by administrator.
