Job summary

RXinsider LTD. is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher in Michigan to lead a self-contained classroom for elementary students with ASD.

This contract runs ASAP through June 2027 and emphasizes building strong, supportive relationships and individualized instruction. The ideal candidate holds Michigan Special Education certification with ASD endorsement, has experience with IEPs and collaboration with therapists, and demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication to foster

Qualifications

Must hold Michigan Special Education certification with ASD endorsement.
Experience supporting elementary students with ASD.
Familiarity with creating and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs).
Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
Dedication to fostering an inclusive, engaging, and safe learning environment.

Responsibilities

Deliver tailored instruction in a self-contained setting to meet diverse student needs.
Collaborate with speech and occupational therapists and other educational professionals.
Communicate regularly with families about student progress and growth.
Maintain accurate records, monitor progress, and adjust strategies as needed.
Foster independence, problem solving, and social skills through daily interactions.
Participate in school meetings, staff development, and special education team planning.
