Job summary

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of childhood growth and development.

Responsibilities

• Supports teachers in instructional and behavioral needs for students with disabilities.
• Provides small group or individualized instruction per IEP and lesson plans.
• Collects instructional and behavioral data for objectives.
• Implements Behavior Intervention Plans for students with disabilities.
• Communicates with teachers about student issues and parent conversations.
• Assists during standardized testing and with daily materials.
• Distributes supplies and equipment and assists with cafeteria/learning spaces.
• Monitors student movement during transitions and classroom activities.
