Job summary

Atlanta Classical Academy is seeking a full-time paraprofessional in Atlanta, GA to support students with disabilities inside general education and one-on-one settings. The role involves working under the Special Education Lead Teacher, implementing IEPs, collecting data, and assisting with behavior plans.

Qualified candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, an associate’s degree or higher, and GA paraprofessional certification. Experience with IEP platforms is preferred.

Qualifications

• Paraprofessional certification in GA is required.
• Associate’s Degree or higher in any subject is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience working with students with disabilities and/or behavioral challenges is preferred.
• Experience with IEP platforms (IEP Online, GO IEP) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide small group or individualized instruction per IEP.
• Collect instructional and behavioral data for each student.
• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans for students with disabilities.
• Monitor students' movement within the school building.
• Support the Special Education Lead Teacher (SELT) on the campus.
