Job summary

Tantasqua Regional School District and School Union 61 Burgess Elementary School in Sturbridge, MA seeks an ABA Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year. Qualifications

• Experience working with children with disabilities preferred.
• Post-secondary training or Associate’s Degree required.
• Ability to implement individualized instruction and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Provides structured behavioral, adaptive and life skill assistance to students.
• Maintains data and progress reports for progress monitoring.
• Performs safety and health-related tasks as part of student support.
• Collaborates with teachers, BCBA and other service providers.
• Intervenes using behavioral strategies and supports to reduce challenging behaviors.
