Job summary

May Institute in Wilmington, MA seeks a Teacher Assistant to support lead teachers in implementing IEPs and assist students with personal care and behavioral interventions.

You will foster a safe, inclusive classroom and use ABA strategies to promote communication, social skills, and independence while documenting progress and collaborating with families and a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • License: Valid U.S. driver’s license.
  • Availability: Full-time (Mon–Fri, 8 AM–4 PM), year-round program.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal abilities, reliability, compassion, and adaptability.

Make a real difference in the lives of children and adolescents (ages 3–21) with Autism and developmental disabilities! As a Teacher Assistant, you’ll provide direct classroom support, implement intervention strategies, and help students build critical skills using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
