Job summary

May Institute is seeking a Special Education Teacher Assistant/Paraprofessional/Instructor in West Springfield, MA. The role supports lead teachers, implements IEPs, and helps students ages 5–21 with autism and developmental disabilities using ABA techniques.

You will document progress and collaborate with families and a multidisciplinary team in a year-round program. The position offers 40 hours per week, M-F, with a flexible start between 7:00 and 8:10 AM, 8-hour days plus a 30-minute midday

Qualifications

  • Age 18+
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • License: Current and valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Availability: 40-hour work week, M-F, 8-hour days plus a 30-minute unpaid midday break
  • Year-round program
