Job summary

The Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services (DDS) Northeast Region seeks a Program Coordinator II to lead autism-specific initiatives, coordinate services, and build data-driven resources. You will guide staff, develop regional supports, and ensure effective collaboration with area offices and contracted providers.

Responsibilities include program tracking, reporting, and regional coordination with the central Autism Unit, as well as serving as a liaison to DDS leadership.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge and experience working with autism spectrum disorder.
• Proven ability to plan, develop and organize supports and services.
• Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written form.
• Experience managing projects to achieve outcomes.
• Ability to work cooperatively with management and staff.
• Ability to participate in a Leadership Team.
• Ability to utilize data management systems and analyze data.

Responsibilities

• Identify service and support needs for eligible DDS consumers with autism without intellectual disability in the Northeast Region.
• Identify resources and create new resources to meet population needs.
• Develop services in day programs, employment, and independent living supports.
• Create databases to track participation and monitor budgets.
• Coordinate with Adult Autism Support Center to plan programs and administer flex funding.
• Lead training and staff development activities.
• Represent the region in autism-related statewide meetings.
