Job summary

Hope in Springfield, IL is seeking a Training Specialist II to develop and deliver employee trainings, coordinate new hire programs, and support ongoing training initiatives across Hope programs. Under general supervision, the role leads training efforts for Hope Autism Clinics, including Safety Care and CPR/First Aid, and ensures records and certifications are up to date.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
2+ years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
2 years of experience in employee training or development.

Responsibilities

Conduct and coordinate employee development, training, and orientation programs.
Manage new employee training for Hope Autism Clinics and related trainings.
Communicate with program managers about training issues and enforce standards.
Monitor staff training compliance and complete scheduling.
Assign courses in Hope University and Relias and maintain certifications.
Create interactive trainings and PowerPoints for learning materials.
Assist with audits and maintain training records.
