Qualifications

• High school education or GED required and pass WV State Competency Test for teacher aides.
• Aptitude for working with students and teachers required.
• Must have physical ability and stamina to perform all essential functions.
• Prior experience working with children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Aid in lunchroom monitoring and cleanup as required.
• Assist students in movement about the building and on/off the school bus.
• Assist students with bathroom facilities and other needs.
• Operate classroom equipment and materials as directed by teachers.
• Supervise lunchroom, playground, and indoor activities as needed.
• May ride and supervise on the school bus.
