Lifeworks is seeking a 3rd shift Autism & Mental Health Technician to join our growing team in Ohio. You will work in homes, vocational settings, and communities to support adults with autism, providing clinical exposure and mentorship while addressing neurodevelopmental and mental health needs.

Paid training and opportunities for advancement, flexible hours, and supervision hours for BCBA/BCaBA candidates are offered. This role supports healthcare, psychology, and education pathways.

Qualifikationen

• Sensitive in relating to persons of varying backgrounds and demonstrate ability to work with diverse groups.
• Ability to perform responsibilities with initiative and independent judgment.
• Experience working with individuals with ASD adults and their families preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide managed care, support and training for consumers in vocation, daily living skills, community integration, communication and wellness.
• Ensure safety and well-being while promoting independence and respecting choices.
• Plan and organize daily activities to optimize programming.
• Aid in modeling socially acceptable alternatives to negative behavior.
• Protect consumers from harm and handle emergencies appropriately.
• Role model pro-social, mediation and self-management skills.

Ausbildung

Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology / ABA / Special Education or related field

High School Diploma required
