Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Teacher for the Glendale, AZ area for the 2026-2027 school year. In this in-person, full-time role you will write compliant IEPs, support behavior management, and collaborate with teachers and families to carryover skills in the classroom.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Education or related field, an active Arizona Special Education license, a Fingerprint Clearance Card, and experience in a classroom setting.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s or Master’s in Education or related field.
• Active Arizona Special Education license.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• District requires MMR on file.
• Prior classroom experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create an inclusive classroom setting for all learners.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust plans as needed.
