Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Teacher to support students in an autism classroom serving elementary and middle school students in Boulder, CO. You will provide individualized instruction, implement IEPs, and create a structured, supportive learning environment tailored to students’ academic, behavioral, and developmental needs.

Qualifications

• Valid Colorado Department of Education teaching license with Special Education endorsement.
• Strong classroom management and collaboration skills.
• Experience supporting students with autism preferred.
• School-based experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Provide specialized instruction tailored to students' needs.
• Support students with autism through structured routines and individualized strategies.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families.
