Job summary

LOGAN Community Resources seeks a Family Support Therapist for Early Learning Partnerships to work with programs in St. Joseph County, Indiana.

The role delivers education, training and direction for families, clients and professionals in behavior management, goal setting, functional analysis and communication development. With appropriate licensure, the therapist can provide individual and group therapy, collaborate with schools and providers, and support LOGAN’s efforts to promote autonomy and

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree and BCBA credential if working in a consultation role as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst
• In Indiana, must be a fully licensed Clinical Social Worker to hold this position
• Must meet all requirements to serve First Steps Clients in Indiana

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments for clients as needed and appropriate
• Develop therapy plans to assist clients to be successful at home, school and in the community
• Provide training to parents and staff on the implementation of behavior plans and/or therapy goals
• Monitor the implementation of therapy treatment plans and modify plans when needed
• Provide training for families and professionals in ABA and related areas
• Provide direct therapy for clients at the center, at home or in other environments as needed
• Provide consultation and training for area schools and provider agencies in behavior supports
• Develop training series for parents and professionals on autism-related topics
