Job summary

Vinfen is seeking an Autism Support Broker in the Greater Boston area to work with families on autism waivers, coordinating teams, budgets, and service providers. The role requires regular family visits, collaboration with DDS staff, and ensuring compliance with funding guidelines.

The candidate will help identify providers, support Plan of Care implementation, and maintain DDS documentation while ensuring professional boundaries and crisis responsiveness.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience in progressively responsible human services functions, at least one in the autism community.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as special education, psychology, or applied behavior analysis with three years experience; or an Associate’s degree with five years experience.

Responsibilities

• Meets families in homes at least monthly and attends quarterly progress reviews for waiver participants.
• Meets monthly with DDS Autism Clinical Manager or relevant staff to review cases.
• Responds flexibly to family needs, including weeknights/weekends and other communication channels.
• Facilitates development of the Autism Support Plan and Plan of Care, maintaining data in DDS databases.
• Assists families to recruit, screen, hire, train, schedule, monitor, and paysupport workers via FEA.
• Maintains required DDS documentation and interfaces with DDS, DCF and MassHealth.
• Represents Vinfen with professional and funding organizations; supports staff and families as needed.
