Job summary

Blackbird Health is seeking an Autism Evaluator to conduct neurodevelopmental assessments (ADOS-2, ASRS, CARS-2) and deliver psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and young adults. The role blends testing with ongoing therapy, within a hybrid schedule and supportive team.

You will collaborate with PMHNPs, therapists, and coaches to create integrated treatment plans, write clinical notes promptly, and present findings to families with empathy and clarity.

Qualifications

• Active PsyD license in Maryland
• 2+ years of clinical experience delivering care to children, adolescents, and families
• Exceptional clinical writing and diagnostic documentation skills
• Proven ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Responsibilities

• Perform neurodevelopmental diagnostic evaluations focusing on autism spectrum evaluations (ADOS-2, ASRS, CARS-2)
• Analyze and synthesize assessment data into clear diagnostic conclusions
• Provide compassionate feedback to clients and families with care pathways
• Complete progress notes within 24 hours and oversee report writing and scheduling
• Communicate findings to the broader care team and participate in weekly consultations
• Deliver direct psychotherapy to a pediatric/young adult caseload
• Perform biopsychosocial assessments to inform treatment plans
• Maintain high-quality clinical documentation
