Arizona Autism Charter Schools, Inc. is seeking a Non-Certified Classroom Teacher for Tucson Campus to lead a classroom, implement AZACS curricula, and support students with autism. The role emphasizes ABA-based teaching, data-driven decisions, and collaboration with SPED leadership and the ABA Manager.

The candidate should have a bachelor's degree, experience with autism education, and be enrolled in the AZACS Teaching Certification program after degree. A fingerprint clearance card is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Enrollment in AZACS Teaching Certification program after obtaining a bachelor's degree.
• Mastery of ABA in educational settings.
• Strong behavior management with autistic or special needs students.
• Professional communication with parents and staff.
• Valid Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead teacher in a classroom.
• Collaborate with classroom team and support staff.
• Ensure instructional strategies and lessons are implemented as planned.
• Create a safe and effective learning environment.
• Plan weekly lessons aligned to state standards.
• Provide daily feedback to support staff and observe coaching.
• Maintain regular parent communication per AZACS guidelines.
• Adapt materials to meet IEP requirements and student needs.
• Maintain substitute plans for absences.
• Contribute to IEP development and participate in duties as assigned.
