Job summary

LEARN Regional Educational Service Center is seeking compassionate Intervention Specialists for Ocean Avenue LEARNing Academy to support students with autism and developmental disabilities in a comprehensive educational program.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized supports, promote communication and independence, and monitor progress aligned with IEPs and school goals. Training and collaboration are emphasized to strengthen student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Ability to collaborate with teachers, therapists, nurses, and families.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with diverse audiences.
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized instructional and behavioral supports aligned with IEPs and goals.
• Help students develop communication, self-advocacy, social interaction, and independence.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to support autism and developmental disabilities.
• Assist with Behavior Intervention Plans and positive behavioral supports across settings.
• Collect and monitor student data to inform instructional decisions.
• Create structured, engaging learning environments and promote participation.
• Support use of assistive technology and AAC systems.
• Collaborate with team to ensure consistent support and student growth.
