Job summary

Havern School is seeking a Special Education Teacher for our Autism Program Specialty School in Colorado. The role supports multi-grade classrooms (K-5) with a 3:1 student-to-teacher ratio, aided by a Registered Behavior Technician as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in special education; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience with autism spectrum disorders and related interventions.
• Ability to collaborate with therapists and service providers to implement plans.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver instruction aligned to IEPs and Colorado standards.
• Maintain student progress notes and assessments.
• Coordinate with BCBA for intervention plans in classroom.
• Lead parent conferences and communicate with families monthly.
• Attend faculty and school-wide meetings and participate in professional development.
