Job summary

Lincoln Elementary is hiring a Para/SS/Tier III Autism Classroom paraeducator in Kennewick, WA. The role supports autistic students under the classroom teacher, collects progress data, and participates in documentation and instructional tasks.

Hours are 6.5 per day, 180 days per year with a salary of $23.15–$26.65 per hour. Additional earn-back of up to $0.60/hour based on college credits may apply. Immediate start; deadline 10/14/2026.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must attach unofficial transcript proving AA or equivalent; official transcripts required within 30 days of hire.
• Experience in working with students with autism or in special education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to autistic students under the teacher’s supervision.
• Collect data and maintain documentation to monitor student progress.
• Assist in toileting and food preparation as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, paraeducators and specialists to implement instructional plans.
• Maintain a safe, orderly classroom and follow district policies.
