Job summary

Pendleton County Schools is seeking an Itinerant Transportation/Classroom Aide with Autism and CPI Certification. You will accompany students on buses and assist in classrooms, providing individualized support and safety supervision daily.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 pounds, and completion of transportation training. CPR/AED/First Aid certification is required or must be obtained.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Pass state competency test for Aide.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding duties.
• Must pass criminal background check and be willing to obtain CPR/AED/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide students with individualized attention.
• Assist students during bus transport and in classrooms.
• Assist with loading/unloading and securing students in buses and car seats.
• Monitor medications administered to students as required.
• Maintain safety, confidentiality and FERPA compliance.
