Job summary

Anova Education seeks a Special Education Teacher at Seaford High School for the 2026-2027 school year, TEMPORARY. The role targets Pre-K/elementary learners with autism certification, serving high-needs students and supporting independence and social skills.

You will deliver adapted lessons, monitor progress toward IEP goals, collaborate with families and staff, and maintain a safe, positive classroom. Delaware certification and experience with diverse disabilities are required; position ends

Qualifications

• Certification in Special Education with Delaware licensure or eligibility.
• Evidence of PRAXIS II scores or a valid out-of-state teaching license.
• Experience developing and monitoring IEPs and collaborating with school staff.

Responsibilities

• Delivers lesson plans and instructional activities aligned to IEP goals.
• Monitors student progress and data to inform instructional decisions.
• Maintains a safe, orderly, and positive learning environment.
• Assists students with personal care needs as required and ensures supervision on buses.
• Collaborates with parents and district staff to support student development.
