Seaford School District seeks a Special Schools Paraeducator for a 1:1 PreK program at Seaford High School (BOEC- 1:1- PreK). The role supports certified staff, assists with students with autism, and helps implement lesson plans and behavioral goals.

Employment is temporary for the 2026-2027 school year, with data-driven progress monitoring and instruction in a high-needs setting. Requires a high school diploma or GED and 60 college credits or ParaPro assessment.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent AND 60 college credits or ParaPro assessment.
Ability to follow written or oral instructions.
Ability to understand and use Word and Excel.
Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals.
Maintain confidentiality of student information.

Responsabilités

Assist instructional personnel with education, training, and supervision of students with autism.
Foster independence, self-reliance and social skills.
Assist in delivery of lesson plans and materials.
Monitor progress toward individual education plans and goals.
Assist students with varied instructional activities and positive reinforcement.
