Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Behavioral Technician to work one-on-one with children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar developmental delays and behavioral health challenges in Chattanooga, TN. You will support clients with daily living, communication, and social skills under the supervision of trained analysts.

The role offers hourly pay of 21 to 24 dollars, mileage reimbursement, and a range of health and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, or human development, or a minimum of one year experience with children in relevant settings.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
