Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring a Behavioral Technician to work one-on-one with children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar developmental delays and behavioral health challenges in Castro Valley, CA.

You will document progress, implement plans from Board Certified Behavior Analysts, and support social/communication skills development. Morning, afternoon, and evening hours available with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children and adults with special needs.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Technological proficiency including mobile devices for documentation.
• Proficiency in the English language is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Successful completion of 40-hour ABA Training (training provided).
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
