Job summary

The Trellis School in Sparks, MD is hiring entry-level Autism Instructors for full-time positions. Schedule Monday-Friday 7:45am - 3:45pm at Trellis School - 14450 York Rd Suite A Sparks, MD 21152, hourly $21.00-$23.00 with paid training and full benefits.

You will work one-on-one with learners, implement ABA/VB strategies, and track progress, with extensive coaching and professional development. Qualifications include a High School Diploma and strong English, with degrees preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; degrees preferred.
• Able to read and interpret English documents and write emails.
• Adaptable to changing schedules and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute naturalistic lesson plans outside of the classroom for learners.
• Demonstrate ABA/VB teaching strategies to shape skills across environments.
• Implement learners' behavior, toileting, and feeding protocols.
• Accurately complete daily data tracking and input responsibilities.
• Incorporate feedback and instructional recommendations from the school team.
• Demonstrate proactive work ethic and seek supportive tasks.
• Create and prepare instructional materials for learners.
• Attend internal and high-profile student meetings.
• Support general school procedures and routines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
