The Trellis School is hiring entry-level Autism Instructors for full-time roles in Sparks, MD. Positions offer paid training, benefits, and a competitive starting hourly wage as part of a 12-month program.

Instructors work one-on-one with learners using Verbal Behavior approaches, receiving coaching and training to build communication, readiness, academic, social, and play skills. Join a supportive team dedicated to student success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules and tasks.
• Dependability and punctuality in a school environment.
• Proficient with basic computer tools and Trellis data systems.
• Self-directed with ability to work independently and take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Develop naturalistic lesson plans outside the classroom.
• Demonstrate ABA/VB teaching strategies across learning environments.
• Implement individualized behavior, toileting, and feeding protocols.
• Accurately complete daily data tracking and input responsibilities.
• Attend internal and high-profile student meetings and collaborate with the team.
• Support school procedures including arrivals, lunches, dismissal, and field trips.
