Job summary

Partners In Excellence is seeking a Behavior Therapist to support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder through high-quality early intensive therapies. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with supervision from clinical staff and mentorship for new hires.

The role requires a high school diploma, being at least 18, and successful background checks. Prior behavior therapy experience is preferred; paid training and collaborative team environment are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Background checks required (no felonies, no substantiated abuse, or disqualifying misdemeanors)

Responsibilities

• Works under supervision to provide direct therapy to a team of 4-6 clients following client treatment plans ensuring goals and objectives are being met
• Documents therapy services accurately and timely (e.g., daily treatment notes, data collection, reporting parent and Partners In Excellence communications and client information)
• Ability to read written treatment directions, collect numeric data, and write progress notes
• Protects client privacy and follows HIPAA policies at all times
• Redirects, intervenes, observes, and monitors client behaviors
• Effective communication with parents, co-workers, and supervisors
