Job summary

Centria Autism in Portland, OR is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-to-one under the supervision of a BCBA, implementing individualized intervention plans and using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills. No experience?

We provide comprehensive training. You must be patient and a team player, able to stand, move, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Pass a pre-employment background check.
• Able to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children using behavior intervention plans.
• Assist BCBA in implementing individualized strategies.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Monitor progress and adapt techniques as needed.
• Maintain safety and assist with physical handling when needed.
