Job summary

Centria Autism in Stayton, OR is seeking a Behavior Technician to support children with autism by delivering individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA.

You will work one-on-one with children, teaching communication, social and daily living skills, while reducing challenging behaviors using evidence-based techniques. Comprehensive training is provided, so no prior experience is required.

Starting pay is $19-$20 per hour with room to grow within a structured career path.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and support families.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and team to adjust plans as needed.
