Job summary

Centria Autism in Portland, OR is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum under the guidance of a BCBA. No prior experience required as comprehensive training is provided; candidates should be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.

The role involves teaching communication, social, and daily living skills and may require lifting up to 50 pounds. Join a dedicated team helping children reach their full potential.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion when working with children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• 18 years of age or older with a HS diploma or GED.
• Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and a TB test if required.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized intervention plans.
• Assist BCBA in applying evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Monitor and support children, including lifting up to 50 pounds when needed.
