Centria Autism in Michigan is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA, and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

Candidates should be patient and compassionate, enjoy teamwork, and be willing to complete comprehensive training. You may stand, walk, sit, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under a BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors.
• Move and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
